Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College in collaboration with Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC), Mumbai, has taken up a Research Project on ‘Demonstration of action of Homoeopathic Medicines using Medical Analyzer.’
The Inauguration of the same was held on the 12th July, 2011 at 9.30 a.m. in the College Auditorium. Dr. Srinath Rao, Principal, Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College and the Principal Investigator of the Research Programme introduced the Guests and welcomed the gathering. Dr. B.Sanjeev Rai, Chief of Medical Services, FMCI was the Chief Guest and inaugurated the Research programme by lighting the lamp along with other dignitaries. Dr. G.D. Jindal, Senior Scientist, BARC, Mumbai and Principal Collaborator of the Research Project and Dr. Sathish Bhandary, Vice Dean, Kshema were the Guests of Honour, Rev. Fr Wilfred Prakash D’ Souza, Administrator, FMHMC & H presided over the programme. Dr. Prasanna Kumar, Co-investigator of the Research Project proposed the vote of thanks. Dr. Shivprasad K., Convenor of Research & Development Programme, FMCI, Dr. Sajan K.R., Co-investigator, Research Project and Dr. Vivek Shakthidharan, Senior Research Fellow were the other members present for the programme. Dr. Nazia was the Master of Ceremony of this inaugural programme.


The ‘Research Project’ is founded by the Board of Research in Nuclear Sciences (BRNS), Govt. of India for 2 years.
Homoeopathy is the 250 year old medical system practiced in more than 50 countries. This research is undertaken to validate the scientificity of Homoeopathy. This is a fundamental research in collaboration with BARC Scientists. Fr Muller Homoeopathic Medical College is the first private Homoeopathic Medical College in the country to get this grant.
